Bridge was a group project I worked on with two other students, Jasper Bischof & Hendrick Dockhorn. The task was to design an interactive device choiceof our choosing. We decided to take a closer look at the process of exchanging contact data like a phone numbers, email addresses or social media profiles and make it faster and more efficient, so reduced the process to a single push of a button.

Every user of this device must create a profile in the app that provides all the data he or she wants to exchange when the button is pressed. After that, the user just needs to synchronize the device with the smartphone app and they are now ready to exchange contact data with other people who have the same device. All data received from other people are stored on the device, so a constant connection to your phone is not needed.

For example, after a long day at a conference or networking event where you might connect with many different people, all you have to do is synchronize the device to your phone and all your contacts are updated instantly. Things like spelling mistakes and forgetting which company a contact works for is now a thing of the past. My part was to create the logo and to design the case in CAD to store the ESP, Battery and Button in.
